Taking to the water

Monday 11th July
Finally Victoria is being returned to her natural habitat. The journey by road from L'Aber Wrach takes us under an hour whereas our friends travelling by sea will have another gentle day in port waiting for better weather to make the longer passage round which includes the notorious Chenal du Four.
We arrive in Brest and navigate our way round the enormous Moulin Blanc marina to where the travel hoist will lift us in. The French aren't allowed to use short easy terms like marina if they happen to be foreign words, especially if English, so they call it un port de plaisance. (Similarly an escalator has to be called un escalier roulant and I could come up with a host of other examples).
Anyway, back to Victoria:

And we're in!
Next to get her rigged.
