Festival Day 2 - Sailing

Thursday 14th July

View as we sail slowly out

There's lots of actual sailing goes on at this festival and as the Fowey lugger Alert inside of our raft wants to set off at 10am we make that our sailing time too. No engine, just staysail and a bit of help with our sculling oar to get us moving then we ghost gently out into the harbour and then the Rade.
We leave the hustle and bustle behind and head for some quiet bays.

We find a quiet spot to anchor and enjoy our lunch of baguette and saucisson before sailing slowly back into the harbour.

Anchored off the Ile does Morts, once cemetary to a leper colony on the next island

Back in our harbour
